Hattie Mae Malone, 99, 417 Barnett Drive, Kingsport, passed away Monday, October 20, 2014, at Four Oaks Health Care Center.
A native of Sullivan County, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Molly Bullock.
Mrs. Malone was a former employee of Ridgewood Restaurant. She was a member of The Way of the Cross, Johnson City.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Malone; a daughter, Catherine Chance; two sons, William and Leon Malone; and by three grandchildren, three brothers and four sisters.
Graveside services for Mrs. Malone will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 25, in the Bunker Hill Cemetery, Bluff City, with Chaplain Karen Morris officiating. Interment will follow the service. Pallbearers will be grandsons and grandsons-in-law. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to the staff of Four Oaks Health Care Center and the staff of Caris Hospice. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Friends may also call at the residence of a granddaughter, Tina Ward, 417 Barnett Drive, Lot 12, Kingsport.
