Wanda Sue Persinger

Mrs. Wanda Sue Persinger, 71, Jonesborough, passed away Monday, October 20, 2014, at Franklin Woods Community Hospital.
Mrs. Persinger was a native of Washington County. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Arlene Campbell Arwood.
Mrs. Persinger was a longtime employee of Texas Instruments. She was a member of Lynnwood Christian Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Ray Persinger; one sister, Peggy Snowden; and two brothers, Bud Kegley and Roy Arwood.
Survivors include one daughter, Paula Tester and her husband Fred; two sons, Daniel Persinger and his wife Leslie and David Persinger and his wife Becki; one brother, Thomas Arwood Jr.; one twin sister, Betty Lou Smith, and sister, Donna Tester; six grandchildren, Kelsey Persinger, Kaley Persinger, Kody Persinger, Rhetta Persinger, Dannah Persinger and Shelby Tester; and special friend and caregiver, Shannon Huffine.
The family of Mrs. Persinger will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, October 23, in the Morris-Baker South Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 7:30 p.m. in the South Chapel with Glen Keller, minister, officiating. The graveside committal service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, October 24, at Washington County Memory Gardens. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The minister, family and friends are requested to meet at the funeral home by 12:15 p.m. Friday to go in procession to the cemetery.
