Betty Charlotte Davidson, 80, of Johnson City, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 13, 2014, at Johnson City Medical Center.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late James P. and Hazel Cole Ritchie. She had lived a number of years in Johnson City.
Mrs. Davidson was a member of The Pentecostals of Johnson City. She loved to work in her flowers and work puzzles.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dillard G. Davidson, in 1988, and two brothers, Howard and Wayne Ritchie.
Survivors include two sisters and brothers-in-law, Ella Mae and Lawrence Hardin and Carol and Don Myers, all of Elizabethton, and several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Judy Estep.
Graveside services for Mrs. Davidson will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday, November 17, at Monte Vista Memorial Park with Pastor Kevin Greene officiating. Interment will follow the service. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Condolences may be e-mailed to mfc@chartertn.net.
