Edward Woodrow Soliday

Edward Woodrow Soliday, 65, of Elizabethton, passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2014, at his residence.
A native of Grampin, Pa., he was a son of the late William and Bertha McClinsey Soliday. He had lived in Carter County since 1970.
Mr. Soliday was a retired truck driver. He attended Upper Gap Creek Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
Survivors include two children, Christy Boucher and Toby Soliday, both of Elizabethton; four grandchildren, Tianna and Michelle Boucher, Brandan and Conall Soliday; the mother of his children, Grace Soliday; three sisters, Arlene Blair, Stella Dourm and Pam Freeman; three brothers, Rick, Don and William “Bunk” Soliday; and several nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Nathaniel Soliday.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. Saturday, December 6, at the funeral home with a brief service by Rev. Terry Jones, Rev. Perry Markland and Rev. Dale Blevins. It was his wish to be cremated. Condolences may be sent to the family at our website: www.memorialfcelizabethton.com.
