Gary Wayne Meredith, 75, passed away peacefully at his Orlando residence on Sunday morning, December 21, 2014.
Gary was a retired school teacher from the Orange County Public Schools. After retirement, he spent summers in Butler, Tenn., and winters in Orlando, Fla.
He loved to play golf, garden and spend time with his family.
Gary is survived by Linda, his wife of 52 years; three daughters and their families, Julie and husband, Pastor Bruce Mayhew, Tiffany Schweikart, and Angela and husband, Hector Rodriguez; seven grandchildren, Bethany Mayhew, Olivia Mayhew, Abbey Mayhew, Brandon Rodriguez, Jonah Rodriguez, Kayla Schweikart, and McKenzie Schweikart; sister-in-law, Brenda McEwen; and brother-in-law, Dr. George F. McQueen and wife, June.
