Margie Lynn Greene Wilson

Margie Lynn Greene Wilson, 85, of Bristol, Tenn., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 24, 2014, at Ivy Hall in Elizabethton Tenn.
Margie was a native of Bristol, Tenn., and she lived in Blountville, Tenn., since 1975 until 2001, then moved back to Bristol. She was a daughter of the late Claude Greene and Virginia “Vergie” Broyles Greene.
Margie was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Blountville, Tenn. Besides her parents, Margie was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Wilson, in 2001; three brothers, Claude Greene, Alvin Greene and Soloman Greene; and a sister, Ruby Greene Scott.
Survivors include sons, Donald Jessee Wilson and wife, Sue, and Mike Wilson and wife, Lori; grandchildren, Stephen Wilson, Eric Wilson and Nicholas Wilson; and a sister, Gertrude “Trudy” Hammons.
Funeral services for Mrs. Wilson will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 30, in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Clay Austin officiating. Interment will follow at Glenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mike Wilson, Donald Wilson, Ernie Chapman, Greg Greene, George Wood and Jimmy Hammons. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the funeral service at Weaver Funeral Home. Online condolences may be registered at www.weaverfuneralhome.net.
