Sandra F. Bennett, 54, 2654 Bob Little Road, Elizabethton, Tenn., went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 24, 2014, at Johnson City Medical Center after a long battle with cancer.
Sandra was a native of Greeneville, Tenn. She was a member of Blue Springs Christian Church and part of the TN Relay for Life.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard H. Long, and mother, Elizabeth Florean Livingston; a brother, Jeffery G. Long; and her father-in-law, Clinton Bennett.
Survivors include her husband, Mickey Bennett; a daughter, Tobey Howell; two grandchildren, Alexis and Taylor; a brother, Richard Dale Long; two sisters, Sherri Cravens and Terri Martin; a step-brother, Lanny Johnston; a step-sister, Jacque Archer; her mother-in-law, Wanda Bennett; two sisters-in-law, Paula Dillon and Susan Williams; and a number of nieces and nephews.
There will be a celebration of life at the Blue Springs Christian Church, 107 Don Rominger Road, Elizabethton, on Sunday, January 4, at 2:30 p.m. Officiating will be Richard Thomason and wife Kathy. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Blue Springs Christian Church Fellowship Hall Fund.
