Ronald Grimmett

Ronald Grimmett, 71, of Elizabethton, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2015, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital.
Ronald was a son of the late Wirt and Esta Ellis Grimmett.
Mr. Grimmett was a native of Logan County, W.Va., but moved to Elizabethton in 1993. He was retired from Pioneer Fence Company and was of the Baptist faith. He liked construction and liked to talk on the CB Radio and he loved to listen to Swap and Shop.
Survivors include three sisters, Addie Carnett, Elizabethton, Karen Grimmett, Paris, Calif., and Rosa Mae Pearcy, Mesa, Ariz.; and two brothers, Lonnie Ray Grimmett, Glendale, Ariz., and Marshall Grimmett, Elizabethton. Several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews also survive.
A service to honor the life of Ronald Grimmett will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 8, in the Chapel of Peace at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, with Rev. Justin Deaton officiating. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, prior to the service. The graveside service will follow in the Mt. Hebron Cemetery, Buckingham Road, Greeneville, Tenn. Active pallbearers will be Josh Jamison, Marshall Grimmett, Rodrigo Nava, Steven Alvarez, Matthew Murrietta, Phillip Burch, Dolly Ruddlesden and Stephanie Burch.
