Mary Evelyn Blevins, 61, of Elizabethton, Tenn., passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital.
A native of Carter County, she was the daughter of the late Calvin Coolidge and Geraldine Wright Rasnick.
Ms. Blevins was a homemaker and was of the Freewill Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Diane Smith and Donna Williams, and a brother, Mitchell Rasnick.
Survivors include a niece, Jo Ann Roberson, Watauga, Tenn.; a son, Jack Blevins, Elizabethton; a brother, Johnny Rasnick, Elizabethton; and three grandchildren. Several other nieces and nephews also survive.
A memorial service to honor the life of Mary Evelyn Blevins will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday, January 14, in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral and Cremation Services with Pastor Earnest Garland officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, prior to the service. Private disposition will be held at a later date.
