Patricia Elliott Roper, 75, of Elizabethton, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2015, at her residence.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Vernon and Echo Grindstaff Elliott.
Pat was a graduate of Elizabethton High School and a member of Lynn Valley Baptist Church. She was a UT Vols Fan.
Survivors include a son, Wendall Roper; four grandchildren, Lekisha Roper, Brandon Roper, Jessica Frazier and Joshua Hardin; a great-grandchild, Khloe Benfield; and her special friends, Ginger and Dennis Hardin, Tara Ingram, Russell and Pam Harrison, Drusilla Smith, Curtis Newman, Richard and Lois Hardin and Richard Holt.
The graveside service for Patricia Elliott Roper will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 21, in the Mausoleum of Hope at Happy Valley Memorial Park with Pastor Dennis Wilson officiating. Entombment will follow. Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 1:20 p.m. Wednesday, will be Richard Holt, Josh Hardin, Curtis Newman, Russell Harrison, Richard Hardin and Rebel Freeman.
