Kyle Clifton Smith of Elizabethton, Tenn., who resided in Rock Springs, Wyo., for the past two and a half years, was called home by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, January 11, 2015. Kyle fulfilled his earthly journey that of which only God knew.
Kyle liked to hike and enjoyed the outdoors. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Kyle was born in Jacksonville, Fla., May 1, 1987, the son of Daniel B. and Phyllis Smith. From the age of one and a half until moving to Wyoming, Kyle resided in Elizabethton.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jack S. Hardison, and his paternal grandparents, Arvel V. and Anne M. Smith.
Survivors, in addition to his parents, include a sister, Sheana D. Smith; a daughter, Kaylee Grace Smith; a nephew, Tristan A. Wilson; a niece, Blakely A. Smith; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
There will be a Celebration of Life Memorial for Kyle at First Christian Church, downtown Elizabethton, on Friday, January 23, beginning at 6 p.m. with Pastor Dennis Wilson officiating. Friends and family are invited to gather in the fellowship hall after the service.
