Vivian Wolfe Hill

Vivian Wolfe Hill, 88, of Elizabethton, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2015, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital.
A native of Harlan, Ky., she was a daughter of the late Otis Kenley and Mary Jane Wolfe. She had lived in Elizabethton since 1975.
Mrs. Hill was a graduate of Harlan High School and attended Elizabethton Business College. She was a retired accountant and was employed by several Certified Public Accountants over the years.
Mrs. Hill was a member of Valley Forge Christian Church and the Fellowship Sunday School Class, where she served as secretary-treasurer for many years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Mack Hill, who died May 18, 2004, and a brother, Dr. Otis K. Wolfe Jr.
Survivors include three children, Janie Hill and husband Jimmy Fordham, Birmingham, Ala., Mack Edward Hill and Ken R. Hill, both of Elizabethton; five grandchildren, Crystal Hurd and husband Richard, Anthony Hill, David Hill, Ryan Fordham and wife Kelly and Richie Fordham and wife Wesley; and three great-grandchildren, Damian Hill, Dylan Hurd and Hadassah Grace Fordham. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 31, at Happy Valley Memorial Park with Mr. David Siebenaler, minister, officiating. Interment will follow the service. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 1:20 p.m. Saturday to go to the cemetery. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to Dr. Jonathan Bremer and his staff, the doctors and staff of Sycamore Shoals Hospital and Dr. Vivian Clark and the staff of Hermitage Health Center for all their wonderful care and kindness.
