Pauline Sheffield Bowling

Pauline Sheffield Bowling, 68, of Elizabethton, passed away Friday, January 30, 2015, at Johnson City Medical Center.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Dana S. and Hattie Waddell Sheffield
Mrs. Bowling was a retired employee of Kennametal Inc. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Bowling; a son, Edward B. Jones Jr.; a step-daughter, Brenda Jean Miller; and a brother, Harold Dean Sheffield.
Survivors include a step-son, Ronda “Ronnie” Bowling, Jonesborough; a niece, Sara Sheffield; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; her daughter-in-law, Judy Bowling, Elizabethton; and a special friend, Bob Hughes.
Funeral services for Pauline Sheffield Bowling will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 5, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Eric Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Emmert Cemetery. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
