GRAY — Marilyn S. Bare, 65, passed away at Bristol Regional Medical Center on Wednesday, March 4, 2015, surrounded by her family. She was born February 6, 1950 to the late Claude and Florine Campbell in Washington County, Tenn.
Marilyn attended Faith Freewill Baptist Church. She was a loving sister and mother that was always there for her family. Marilyn had a huge heart and was loved dearly by everyone that knew her. She enjoyed watching her favorite television shows, racing and going camping.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Larry Bare; grandmother, Savannah Casey; and brother-in-law, Jerry Grace.
Survivors include daughter, Michelle L. Bare; sisters, Wanda Grace and Gail Johnson; brother, C.J. Campbell; nieces and nephews, Keith Garland, Nikki Grace Bainey, Chaz Grace, Tracy Collins and Jason Campbell; and many more family members and loved ones.
The family will receive friends Monday, March 9, at Snyder’s Memorial Gardens from 7 to 8 p.m. The service will immediately follow with Rev. Kenneth Grindstaff officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, at Mountain Home National Cemetery. Pallbearers include Keith Garland, Christopher Collins, Zachary Campbell, Jason Campbell, Logan Campbell and Ethan Campbell. Chaz Grace is an honorary pallbearer. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Snyder’s Memorial Gardens to help pay for the service. The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Johnson City Medical Center and Bristol Regional Medical Center for the comfort given to the family.
