Richard “Todd” Hale, 50, of Elizabethton, passed away with a smile on his face after an extended illness surrounded by his family and friends on Monday, April 27, 2015, at his residence.
Mr. Hale was a native of Carter County and a son of Ida Neal Hale and the late Carlos Michael “Mike” Hale. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Debra Hale.
Survivors include a daughter, Cierra Hale, of the home; a brother, Mark Hale and wife Trudy, Elizabethton, Tenn.; two aunts, Ada Hawks, Nashville, Tenn., and Ann Ornduff and husband Gilbert, Elizabethton, Tenn.; and three cousins, Pamela Ornduff and Kelly Dale, both of Nashville, Tenn., and Mona Evans, Elizabethton, Tenn.
A visitation to celebrate and honor the life of Richard “Todd” Hale will be conducted from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 2, in the funeral home chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton. The family plans to hold an inurnment service at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 3, in the Mausoleum of Peace at Happy Valley Memorial Park.
