Kraig Franklin Kiser

Kraig Franklin Kiser, 42, of Elizabethton, entered into rest Friday, May 1, 2015, at Johnson City Medical Center.
Kraig was a 1991 graduate of Elizabethton High School. He was the son of the late Wilma “Peach” Kiser Shell. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Kraig was a nature lover. He enjoyed gardening, yard work and reading. He especially loved spending time with his nieces and nephews.
Kraig is survived by his step-father, Homer Shell, and five siblings, Kevin Kiser, Lisa Evans and husband, Kyle, Kristi Perkins and husband, Elonza, Daniel Shell and fiancée, Donna Mitchell-Vitoux, and Jason Shell and wife, Sandy. Kraig leaves the following nieces and nephews, Erin Kiser, Emily Kiser, Kolby Evans, Kylee Evans, Alleea Shell, DJ Shell, Eric Vitoux, Elizabeth Vitoux, Kaylen Shell and Jasy Shell. Additionally, he leaves very special friends, Beulah “Mutt” Williams, Sue Humphreys and Carol Gladden.
The family will greet guests and share memories from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 7, at Slagle’s United Methodist Church, Elizabethton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Kraig to Slagle’s United Methodist Church Women’s Society, 285 Old Watauga Road, Elizabethton, TN 37643.
