William “Scott” Ramsey

William “Scott” Ramsey, 39, of Gray, Tenn., passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2015. A native of Johnson City, he was the beloved son of Ron and Debra Davis Ramsey.
Scott had been with McDonald’s for 25 years, as an owner/operator in partnership with his parents for 15 years. He enjoyed golfing, boating and going to the beach with his family and friends.
Scott graduated from Science Hill High School. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from ETSU, then obtained his Masters of Business from Montreat College in Black Mountain, N.C. He was working on his Doctorate in Education at ETSU.
Scott was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lundy Eugene Davis, and Martha Ramsey.
In addition to his parents, those left to cherish Scott’s memory include his wife, Ashley Kyzer Ramsey, his children, William “Will” Ramsey, and soon to be son, Chase Ramsey; mother-in-law, Paula Wright; father-in-law, Jerry Kyzer and wife Yvonne Kyzer; his grandmother, Nora Davis; several loving aunts and uncles; and his beloved pet “Chloe.”
The family will greet friends and family to share in his Celebration of Life on Saturday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Gray United Methodist Church, Gray. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. at the church with Pastor Lloyd Jones officiating. The graveside service and interment will be at Happy Valley Memorial Park following the memorial service.
