Frankie Amanda Dugger White, 75, of Butler, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, June 2, 2015, from Bristol Regional Medical Center. Frankie was a native of Johnson County and a daughter of the late Frank and Orpha Keller Dugger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James K. White, in 1977; three brothers, Richard, Raymond and Larry Dugger; two sisters, Audrey Keller and Mary Dugger; and a nephew, Bobby Dugger Jr.
Frankie had worked for House Call Home Health as a data entry clerk and home health professional. She was a member of Butler Baptist Church and loved spending time with her family, children, grandchildren and great-grandson.
Survivors include her children, Karen White, Butler, and Jamie Russell, Johnson City; three grandchildren, Justin Matherly and wife Danielle, Kara Russell, 15 years old, and Sara Russell, 12 years old; one great-grandson, Braydon Matherly, 7 years old; one great-granddaughter, Aubrey Matherly, due in October; a sister, Betty Ward and husband Louis; and her life mate and companion, Jerry Woods. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
A service to honor the life of Mrs. Frankie Amanda Dugger White will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 6, in the Chapel of Peace of Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, with Rev. Nick Bradshaw and Rev. Ronnie Campbell officiating. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel from noon until 2 p.m. Saturday, prior to the service. The graveside service will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Butler. Active pallbearers will be Justin Matherly, Dennis Ward, Thomas Peters, Jason Griffith, Houston Boyd and Junior Dugger.
