Richard D. Sammons, 77, of Elizabethton, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at Johnson City Medical Center.
His life was defined by his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and he fought a courageous battle with heart disease and Alzheimer’s.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced at a later time.
