Sarah Renee Kiser Wilcox, 29, of Mountain City, loving wife and daughter, went home to be with her Lord, Saturday, June 20, 2015, at Johnson County Community Hospital.
A native of Greenwood, S.C., she had lived most of her life in Elizabethton before moving to Mountain City three months ago.
Sarah was a 2003 graduate of Elizabethton High School and attended Northeast Community College. She was employed as a Certified Orthopedic Technician at Watauga Orthopedics and most recently at Circe Medical Services, Johnson City. Sarah attended Calvary Baptist Church, Mountain City.
Survivors include her husband, Chip Wilcox; her stepchildren, Tyler, Dalton and Lily Wilcox; her parents, James and Teresa Roberts Kiser; a brother and sister-in-law, James and Chelsea Kiser; her father and mother-in-law, Robert and Jana Lee Wilcox; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Sarah Renee Kiser Wilcox will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 25, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Steven Spencer and the Rev. Tim Gouge officiating. Graveside services and interment will be at 2 p.m. Friday, June 26, in the Johnson Cemetery, Mountain City. Active pallbearers will be Jeff Wilcox, Greg Wilcox, Jason Bunting, Travis Kiser, Jack Kiser, Jerry Roberts, Rick Ramsey and Tim Baumgardner. Honorary pallbearers will be Patrick Timms and Josh Scalf. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Family and friends will assemble at Calvary Baptist Church, Mountain City, at 1:45 p.m. Friday to go to the cemetery.
