Carol Ann Guinn, 46, was taken home to be reunited with her Dad on Sunday, June 21, 2015. Carol Ann was born on February 18, 1969, a daughter of Norma Irick Campbell of Elizabethton and the late Jack C. Campbell.
Carol Ann was a graduate of Hampton High School, Class of 1987, and was employed as a saw operator with the Kiser Company. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. She touched many lives with her smile and laughter. She never met a stranger and will be missed greatly.
Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Norma Campbell, Elizabethton; her loving and devoted husband, John Guinn and the light of her life, her son, Johnathan Andrew Guinn, both of the home; her stepdaughter, Kelly Oliver and husband Jarod and her granddaughter, Kenley Oliver, all of Elizabethton; her beloved sister, Lisa Potter and husband Gary, Hudson, N.C.; and her mother-in-law, Betty Guinn Stout, Bluff City. Several brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, cousins and a multitude of friends also survive.
A service to remember and celebrate the life of Mrs. Carol Ann Guinn will be conducted at 8 p.m. Friday, June 26, in the Riverside Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, with Mr. Donnie Cable, minister, officiating. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel from 6 to 8 p.m., prior to the service on Friday, or at the residence of her husband or the home of her mother at anytime. The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 27, in the Whitehead Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Gary Potter, Jason Potter, Joshua Potter, Robert Davis, Scotty Hayes, Jimmy Guinn and Gary Moore. Honorary pallbearer will be Ricky Guinn. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the Whitehead Cemetery at 10:50 a.m. Saturday.
