Brenda Roberson, 41, of Elizabethton, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2015, at Johnson City Medical Center. Brenda was a native of Carter County and a daughter of Patty Russell, Elizabethton, and the late Kenneth Matherly. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Rebecca Matherly, and her stepfather, Jeff Russell.
Brenda was a homemaker and was of the Free Will Baptist faith. She loved going to the lake with her family and friends.
Survivors include her mother, Patty Russell and Jonathan Poarch, Elizabethton; her daughter, Cricket Roberson, of the home; a stepsister, Casey Crumley, Roan Mountain; a cousin, Lori Blevins and Lynn, Elizabethton; her special friends, Pam Bailey, Deanna Reece, Eddie Miller, Barbara Miller, Eddie Henson, Kevin Arnold, Jeff Cross and Jennifer Hughes; and her husband, Chris Roberson, Elizabethton.
