Angela Yvonee Canter, age 49, of Elizabethton, went home to be with her Lord on, Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center, Knoxville. Angela was a native of Carter County and was a daughter of James Farmer and the late Nancy Whitson Farmer. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a sister, Teni Turner and a nephew, Josh Turner.
Angela was employed by Borla Performance Industries and loved her job and her work family. When she wasn’t at work she enjoyed spending time with her daughters and grandchildren. Angela was of the Baptist faith. She was a loving, caring and nurturing person and will be missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include her father, James Farmer, Florida; three daughters and a son-in-law; Destinee and Enemorio Alberto, Patience Walsh and Dana Walsh; grandchildren, Mario Alberto, Sofia “Fia” Alberto, Jada Walsh and Onyx Campbell; niece, Misty Turner; great nephew, Ayden Turner; all of Elizabethton; an aunt, Tina Ashton; her best friend, Cindy Rohmann; and the father of her children, Ricky Walsh. Several cousins and friends also survive.
A Celebration of Life service for Angela Yvonee Canter will be conducted at 7:00 PM, Thursday, July 16, 2015, at Hunter First Baptist Church, 693 Highway 91, Elizabethton, with Rev. Gary Edwards and Rev. Steven Nauman, Sr. officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 5:00 PM till the service hour. Honorary pallbearers will be her Borla work family.
