Donnie Goodman, 62, of Bluff City, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2015, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was the son of James and Shirley Curtis Goodman of Bluff City and was born in Piney Flats.

Donnie was of the Baptist faith and was part owner of Bristol Transmission Service, Inc. He enjoyed playing bluegrass music, restoring old cars, bicycling and kayaking.
In addition to his parents, Donnie is survived by one brother, Dave Goodman, and one sister, Francess Guinn, both of Bluff City; three nephews, Mark Guinn and wife Rachel of Bluff City, Daniel Guinn and wife Allison of Mount Carmel, and Kevin Guinn and wife Rhonda of Bluff City; one niece, Jamie Watts of Bluff City; two great-nephews, Noah Watts of Bluff City and Cooper Guinn of Mount Carmel; and two great-nieces, Kylee Watts of Bluff City and Danni Guinn of Mount Carmel.
A graveside service to celebrate Donnie’s life will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 19, at the Sunrise Cemetery in Bluff City with Pastor Jim Perkins officiating. Everyone will meet at the cemetery at 1:50 p.m. Sunday. Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations to Walnut Grove Baptist Church, P.O. Box 632, Bluff City, TN 37618.
