Nora Janice Little Lambert

Nora Janice Little Lambert, 74, of Elizabethton, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2015, at Hermitage Health Care Center. She was a daughter of the late Tom and Mildred Lewis Little and was born in Johnson City. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Ted Vanover; her second husband, Bill Lambert; a son, Jerry Vanover; and two sisters, Shelby Jean Frye and Elizabeth Gail Loveless.
Mrs. Lambert was a retired CNA and was of the Christian faith.
Survivors include two sons, Byron Vanover and wife, Jackie, Limestone, and Tony Vanover, Johnson City; a daughter, Susan Donnelly and husband, James, Elizabethton; three sisters, Shirley Roache and husband, Elmer, Elizabethton, Debbie Maddox and husband, Randy, Johnson City, and Judy Bouton and husband, Mike, Johnson City; one brother, Tommy Little and wife, Wendy, Elizabethton; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service for Mrs. Lambert will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday, August 6, in the Chapel of Peace of Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton. The family will receive friends in the chapel from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, prior to the funeral service. The graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, August 7, at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Everyone will meet at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, at 9:15 a.m. Friday to go in procession to the cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thank-you to the nurses and staff of Hermitage Health Care Center, especially James Loveless, for the love and care shown to Mrs. Lambert.
