William “Billy” Virgil Jackson II

Billy Jackson, 45, Elizabethton, passed away unexpectedly on August 26, 2015, at Johnson City Medical Center. He was born March 12, 1970 in Portsmouth, Va., to William Virgil Jackson and Barbara Ann Garland Jackson.
Billy was a scuba diving instructor and owned and operated a dive shop in Myrtle Beach, S.C., until his health failed and he had to close down. He enjoyed diving, fishing and camping.
Billy attended Jonesborough Elementary School and High School in Boiling Springs, S.C.
In additions to his parents, Billy is survived by a son, Hunter Scott Jackson; three sisters, Kathy Ossi and husband, Ed, Jeanette Lynn East, and Theresa Hatley and husband, James; several nieces and nephews; special friend and mother of his son, Allison Scott; and many more loving friends.
