Anna B. White, 87, of Elizabethton, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2015, at Hillview Health Center following an extended illness.
A native of Carter County, she was the daughter of the late Abraham White and Floie Grindstaff Davis and step-father, James Davis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister-in-law, Lowbrite and Ann White and George Thomas White.
Ms. White loved to collect dolls.
Survivors include four nephews, Wayne White and wife Pat, Crestview, Fla., Beryl White and wife Barbara, Eldon White and wife Kathy, and Mike White, all of Elizabethton; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Graveside services for Anna B. White will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 16, in the Lyons Cemetery with the Rev. Randy Johnson officiating. Interment will follow the service. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to the staff of Hillview Health Center and the staff of the former Stockton Nursing Home.
