Duncan I. Street

Duncan I. Street, 52, of Johnson City, Tenn., went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, September 13, 2015, at Franklin Woods Hospital. He was the son of the late Elige Franklin Street and Joann Powell Street and was born in Elizabethton, Tenn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Mr. Street was president of the Carter County Bank and was a very active member of the community. He enjoyed UT Football, had a love for classic Cadillacs, golfing with Matthew and walking in the park with the kids.
Mr. Street is survived by a brother, Danny Street, Roan Mountain; the love of his life for 16 years, Kathy C. Tester, Elizabethton; and five children, Curtis, Matthew, Maggie “Mag Pie,” Andrea and Adam. Several aunts, uncles and many friends whom he called family also survive.
A graveside service and interment will be conducted on Tuesday, September 15, at 2 p.m. in the McKinney Cemetery. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet the family at the cemetery at 1:50 p.m. Tuesday.
