Mahala Tolley Hampton, 81, of Leesburg, Ala., passed away Saturday, October 24, 2015. She was born April 2, 1934 in Hampton, Tenn., to the late Charlie and Lockie Hilman Tolley. She had lived in Alabama for a number of years.
Mrs. Hampton was a member of Little Doe Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Sgt. Mathey G. Cole and M.B. Hampton, and by three brothers and three sisters.
Those left behind to cherish her memory include her son, Jeff Hampton, and her daughters, Jennifer Farrow, Jill Hampton and Joy Hampton. Local survivors include her sisters, Geneva Roberts and Shirl Davis, and three brothers, Jack, Herman and Wade Tolley. Also several grandchildren and great-grandchildren survive. Mahala raised two of her grandchildren as her own, Zachery and Abigail.
