Priscilla Jasmine “P.J.” Gobble Stout

Priscilla Jasmine “P.J.” Gobble Stout, 29, of Elizabethton, Tenn., passed away Saturday, October 24, 2015, at her residence. A native of Johnson City, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Ronnie L. and Ada Elizabeth English Gobble.
“P.J.” had worked as a waitress. She was a member of Elizabethton Nazarene Church and she loved being a mother to her son.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ford and Sue English.
Survivors include her son, Weston Stout, St. Paul, Va.; a sister, Chyanne Gobble, Elizabethton; her paternal grandparents, Robert L. Gobble Sr. and Esther Gobble, of the home; a sister-in-law, LaRanda Stout Merlette, St. Paul, Va.; an uncle, Robert Gobble Jr., Elizabethton; three cousins, Jessie Townson and her husband, Mat, Johnson City, Wendy Greenwell and her husband, Neal, Johnson City, and Brandon Gobble, Elizabethton; and her special friends, Jeanette Street, April White and Nicole Birchfield.
A service to honor the life of Priscilla Jasmine “P.J.” Stout will be conducted at 4 p.m. Wednesday, October 28, in the Riverside Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home with Rev. Kenley Knight officiating. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel from 2:30 until 4 p.m. Wednesday, prior to the service. The graveside service and interment will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, October 29, at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Jim Clark, Robert Gobble Jr., Brandon Gobble, Josh Harrison, Brandon Birchfield, Justin White, Richard Harrison, Chris Howard, Joe Merlette and Weston Stout, her nine-year-old son. Those wishing to attend are invited to meet the family at the funeral home at 12:15 p.m. Thursday to go in procession to the cemetery.
