Faye Minton Lovelace

Faye Minton Lovelace, 79, of Johnson City, went home to be with her Lord, Sunday, November 1, 2015, at the residence of a son, Greg Lovelace.
A native of Sullivan County, she was a daughter of the late Roscoe and Minnie Blevins Minton.
Faye was a 1954 graduate of Bluff City High School and had worked for several years at the Super X Drug Store. She was a member of Southside Free Will Baptist Church, Elizabethton.
Faye enjoyed working crossword puzzles and watching game shows.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Junior Lovelace, October 1, 2013; four brothers, Kenneth Ray, Richard “R.L.,” Bob and Larry “Buster” Minton; and two sisters, Pauline Milhorn and Edell Pierce.
Survivors include three children, Jeff Lovelace and wife Robin, Elizabethton, Angie Halcomb and husband Sammie, Bluffton, Ohio, and Greg Lovelace and wife Ruth, Johnson City; five grandchildren, Christopher, Noah, Andrea, Whitney and Rustie; two great-grandchildren, Makaylah Crowe and Jaykob Crowe; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services for Faye Minton Lovelace will be conducted at 1:45 p.m. Thursday, November 4, at Mountain Home National Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Burleson officiating. Interment will follow the service. Music will be provided by the Minton Family. Active pallbearers will be the men of Southside Free Will Baptist Church. Honorary pallbearers will be her church family. The family will receive friends following the graveside service in the fellowship hall of Southside Free Will Baptist Church, 224 Jack Bradley Road, Elizabethton.
