The Elizabethton Cyclones opened up the 2015-16 season by hitting the road and traveling to Johnson Co. for a Hall of Champions contest against the Tri-Cities Eagles.

The Cyclones grabbed a quick lead and let Tri-Cities back into the game before going on to run away from the Eagles in registering an 82-47 victory.

“We shot a lot of three’s which may not be a good thing,” said Cyclone head coach Lucas Honeycutt. “We just wanted to get them out there and see what they could do and then we’ll make our adjustments from there.”
