Beatrice Bayless Beals, 95, of Johnson City, passed away Thursday, November 19, 2015, at Johnson City Medical Center.
Beatrice was a long-term resident of Jonesborough, prior to moving to Johnson City in 2001.
In addition to her parents, Edgar and Carrie Bayless, Beatrice was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Beals; a sister, Estella Mae Bayless; and grandson, Erik Lachman.
Survivors include her two daughters and one son, Phyllis Lachman, Dianna Beals and Billy “Doc” Parris; one brother, Charlie Bayless and wife, Jane; four grandchildren, Mark, David and Russ Lachman and Heather Taylor; four great-grandchildren, Ben, Sydney and Aaron Lachman and Ellenor Taylor; four nieces, Sarae’ Trivett, Cathy Garland, Karen Goulds and Charlene Bayless; and a number of grand nieces and nephews.
A private memorial and committal service was held on Sunday, November 22, in the Morris-Baker Chapel. The body was laid to rest at Monte Vista Memorial Park. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of Lakebridge Health Care Center for their loving care during the past three years she resided there.
