Kathlyn Elliott Riddle

Mrs. Kathlyn Elliott Riddle, 87, of Elizabethton, Tenn., passed away Sunday, December 6, 2015, at Johnson City Medical Center.
A native of Carden’s Bluff, Tenn., she was a daughter of the late James Ray Elliott and Blanche Kathryn Blevins Elliott.
Mrs. Riddle was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rondah Mack Riddle; a granddaughter, Melanie Suzanne Ambrose; two grandsons, Logan Aubrey Gabriel Riddle and Eryc Jordan Christian Scot Riddle; and a brother, James Ray Elliott II.
Survivors include her children, Ronyah Riddle Ambrose, Kathy Riddle LaVillier, Karyn Riddle Welch and husband David, Gregory Byron Riddle and wife Connie, Ingryd Mychele Riddle, Eryc Myron Riddle and wife Tonya and Rondah Mack Courtney Riddle and wife Jerri; grandchildren, Jesse L.A. Ambrose I, Melissa D. Pardue and husband Brian, Andre’ P. Parlier, Simone R. Naren and husband Rick, Elliott D.V. Welch and wife Angel, Allison W. Buck and husband Nic, Cara P. Riddle, Ashleigh N. Riddle and Heather R. Craddock and husband Thomas; great-grandchildren, Jesse L.A. Ambrose II, Tre’ T. Parlier, Alexis M. Welch, Reed M. Welch, Cameron H.B. Buck and Mason B.C. Buck; and brothers and sisters, Command Sergeant Major James Ray Elliott II, U.S. Army, Francis E. Williams, Phyllis E. Edens, Dr. Glen D. Elliott, Karen Hoffman, Lynn Crucher, Howard Elliott and Ken Elliott. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A service to honor the life of Mrs. Riddle will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday, December 9, in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral and Cremation Services with Rev. Bryan Smith officiating. Music will be under the direction of Jacob Taylor Pardue and Jerri Riddle. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, prior to the funeral service. The graveside service and interment will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 10, at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Everyone will meet at the funeral home at 10:15 a.m. Thursday to go in procession to the cemetery. Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations to the Gideon’s International, P.O.
