God waited patiently as her children and grandchildren gathered around her to tell her we loved her and say our goodbyes, before He took her by the hand and led her to the Promised Land.
Martha Marie Taylor, 81, of Kingsport, went to be with Jesus on Sunday, January 3, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Taylor, and one daughter, Mary Hurt.
Marie left behind to cherish her memories daughters, Janie Surcey “The love of her life” and husband Mark of Gray, and Joy Shell and husband Jim of Hampton; sons, Richard Taylor of Kingsport and Fred Taylor of Mountain City; her beloved grandchildren, Brandy Shell of Hamilton, Ohio, and Logun Shell of Hampton, Tenn.; and great-grandchildren, Mason Kyler Shell and Taylor Shell. Marie is further survived by several nieces and nephews.
There will be a committal at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 5, at East Lawn Memorial Park in the Garden of Prayer. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.eastlawnkingsport.com.
