Dalton Lee Bailey, age 16, of North Tazewell, Va., formerly of Butler, Tenn., died Thursday, February 11, 2016, at his home. Born March 25, 1999 at Elizabethton, Tenn., he was a son of Terri Deann Needham of Butler, Tenn., and Danny J. Bailey and companion, Tonya Hardin of North Tazewell, Va.
Dalton was a sophomore at Tazewell High School. He was a member of Butler Baptist Church and attended Calvary Baptist Church in North Tazewell, Va., as a member of the youth.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by brothers, Daniel Scott Bailey, Kalab Lee Potter, Tommy Needham, all of Butler, Tenn., and Tommy Joe Bailey of Lunenburg, Va.; a sister, Angel Marie Bailey of Chase City, Va.; his grandmother, Elizabeth Ahmed of North Tazewell, Va., with whom he resided the past year; aunt, Tammy Allen; cousins, Joey Shetley, Jessica Gryder and Heather Allen; aunt, Nikkie Bailey; cousins, Colton Walker and Mason Ott, all of Butler, Tenn. His cousins were all considered as brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. February 19 at Peery & St. Clair Funeral Home, Tazewell, Va., with Jeffrey Pass officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens, Bluefield, Va. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 18.
