After leading the Elizabethton Cyclones to the second round of the 2015 TSSAA football playoffs, senior quarterback Hunter Tyree knew he wanted to continue his football career but wanted to find the right fit.
Tyree has decided on that college and has committed to Alderson Broaddus University in Philippi, West Virginia and will be signing his paperwork on Thursday, February 25th inside the Elizabethton High School commons area at 3:30 pm.
In joining the Battlers, Tyree comes into a program that went 7-4 in the 2015 season. From a passing prospective, Alderson Broaddus averaged 233.33 yards per game between their two senior starting quarterbacks and 25.33 points per contest.
The roster is composed of a broad list of players coming from several different states including Pennsylvania, Ohio, Arizona, Virginia, Florida and West Virginia to name a few with Tyree being the only player locally.
Tyree will continue to play quarterback as a Battler.
