Jeffrey Craig Guy, 48, of Butler, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2016, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem, N.C.
Jeff was a native of Carter County. He was a brick and block mason and a carpenter. He was of the Baptist Faith.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father, C.M. Guy; a brother, Carl Guy; and his step-father, Roy Dugger.
Survivors include his children, Chad and Ethan Guy; his mother, Selma Potter Dugger, Butler; the mother of his children, Michelle Stanberry; one aunt, Callie Lock Miller; and his special friends, Margie and Kathy.
Funeral services for Jeffrey Craig Guy will be conducted at 7 p.m. Saturday, February 20, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Howard Estep and the Rev. Joe Browning officiating. The graveside service and interment will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 21, in the Stone Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the cemetery at 1:50 p.m. Sunday, will be David, Jimmy and Jack Guy, Jeff Farthing, Robert Church and Ray Lambert. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 1:50 p.m. Sunday.
