Barbara Sue Roberson, 64, of Roan Mountain, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2016, at Johnson City Medical Center.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Charles Glenn and Geneva Leonard Roberson.
Barbara was a graduate of Hampton High School. She did upholstery work at her home. She was a member of Little Mountain Baptist Church.
Barbara loved her cats.
Survivors include several cousins including Chasity, Drew, Maddy and Carson.
A graveside service for Barbara Sue Roberson will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, February 21, in the Blevins Cemetery (Railroad Grade), Roan Mountain, with the Rev. Shane Whittemore officiating. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
