Teresa Elaine Privette, 59, 144 Vaughn Road, Hampton, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2016, at the residence of her daughter, Terri Lynne Byers.
Teresa was a native of Carter County and a graduate of Elizabethton High School. She was retired due to disability from Mapes Piano String Company after 25 years of service. She was a member of the Day of Deliverance Revival Center, Johnson City. Her hobby was being with her family, friends and her church family.
Teresa was preceded in death by her father, McKinley Lambert.
Survivors include her husband, Steve Privette; her daughter, Terri Lynne Byers; her mother, Corine Pippin; three sisters, Donna Faye Turner, Elizabethton, Sandra Darcel Lambert, Hampton, and Lora Ann Pritchard and her husband Eric, Elizabethton; two brothers, Roger Dale Lambert and his fiancée Gay Ward and Ronnie Allen Lambert and his wife Phyllis Lynn, all of Elizabethton; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services for Teresa Elaine Privette will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dewey Ward and the Rev. Percy Bland officiating. Graveside services and interment will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 10, in the Jenkins Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to Dr. Frank Johnson and staff of Johnson City Internal Medicine, the staff of Vanderbilt Ingram Cancer Center and the staff of Amedisys Home Health and Hospice Care. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Friends may also visit with the family at the residence of her mother, Corine Pippin, 223 Dogwood Acres, Hampton.
