Homer Donald Justice

Homer Donald Justice, 73, of Butler, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at his residence after a brief illness. Born December 11, 1942, he was a native of Pikeville, Ky., and a son of the late Ezra Homer and Jettie Marie Phillips Justice.
Mr. Justice was retired from General Motors, the Ypsilanti, Mich., plant, where he was a fork truck driver. He had lived in Butler since 1997. He was a member of the U.A.W. and the Carter County Hunting & Fishing Club. He was of the Church of Christ faith.
He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Rose Marie Justice; a daughter and son-in-law, Donna Marie and Duane Burke, Dorton, Ky.; two grandchildren, Joey and Kyra Burke; a brother, Danny Justice, Virgie, Ky.; and two aunts, who were more like sisters, Barbara Jean Webb and Ruth Croley. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, close friends and neighbors also survive.
Funeral services for Homer Donald Justice will be conducted at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 12, at Memorial Funeral Chapel. Graveside services and interment will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 13, in the Lakeview Cemetery, Campbell Road. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at noon Sunday to go to the cemetery.
