Laura Angelene Carden, 65, of Elizabethton, passed away Friday, April 29, 2016, at Johnson City Medical Center following an extended illness.
A native of Ridgeway, Va., she was a daughter of the late Claude and Florence Martin Roseberry.
Laura had lived in Elizabethton since 2005. She was a Christian.
Survivors include her husband of 30 years, James E. “Woody” Carden; her children, Johnny Elmer, Angie Irizarry and James Carden II; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers; two sisters; five brothers-in-law; four sisters-in-law; and several nieces and nephews.
It was her wish to be cremated and no services are planned.
