Rocky Top Garage Door grand opening a success

Rocky Top Garage Door owners Teresa and Mitch Parlier cut the ribbon announcing the grand opening at their new location on Broad Street. They were joined by friends, family and Elizabethton/Carter County Chamber of Commerce executives.
Rocky Top Garage Door has officially opened at its new location and as a new member of the Elizabethton/Carter County Chamber of Commerce.
The family-owned company sells, services and installs garage doors and openers for residential, commercial and industrial clients.
Owner Mitch Parlier said he has been in the business for over 25 years, working for various companies, and opened his own business with his wife Teresa a few years ago.
Parlier said the new location at 1617 Broad Street in Elizabethton is a step towards continued success for the company, which he said works often with Mitch Cox Construction and Whites Construction.
“We have an honest, reliable and locally owned business,” said Parlier. “We do all of our own work without subcontractors.”
On Friday, they were joined by family and friends for a grand opening and ribbon cutting celebration, including a cookout and social mixer at the new showroom.
