Norma Louise Peeks Hill

Norma Louise Peeks Hill, 66, of Elizabethton, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2016, at her residence.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late David Norman Peeks Jr. and Mattie McConnell Peeks.
Norma was a graduate of Elizabethton High School and was a Legal Secretary for Brandt & Beeson, Johnson City. She was a member of Little Doe Free Will Baptist Church. Her hobbies were fishing and NASCAR Racing.
Survivors include her husband, Cecil Hill; her sons, James Watson Jr. and wife Yvette and David Watson and wife Amanda, all of Elizabethton, Rick Hill and wife Ronda Miller, Salt Lake City, Utah, and Timothy Hill and wife Kathy, Sacramento, Calif.; her daughter, Drema Hill and husband Stuart Babicky, Portland, Ore.; nine grandchildren including a special grandchild, Kelsey Watson; seven great-grandchildren; her sisters, Teresa Norris, Elizabethton, Pamela Perry and husband Joseph, Piedmont, S.C., and Jerri Sue Peeks, Johnson City; two nieces, Sara Propst and Whitney Turner; and one nephew, Bradley Peeks.
Funeral services for Norma Louise Peeks Hill will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Shane Waters officiating. Music will be provided by Joel Crisp. Graveside services and interment will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 18, in the Bowers Cemetery (Charity Hill Road). Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 9:20 a.m. Wednesday, will be Joseph Perry, Bradley Peeks, Rick Hill, Tim Hill, Woody Lyons and Roger Norris. Honorary pallbearers will be her church family. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to the staff of Mountain States Hospice and the Oncology Department of the Johnson City Medical Center. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Friends may also visit with the family at her residence.
