Nancy Lanier Hood, 80, of Church Hill, Tenn., passed away early in the morning on Monday, May 16, 2016, in Kingsport, Tenn. She was born June 23, 1935 in Hogansville, Ga., to the late Hildred Lewis and Sidney “Bud” Crouch.
Nancy was a native of Elizabethton, Tenn., and had lived in Church Hill for two years.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 60 years, Leon Hood of Church Hill; sons, Sid and wife Denise Hood of Kingsport, Tenn., and Scott and Deanna Hood of Elizabethton, Tenn.; and grandchildren, Ashley and Tyler Begley of Blountville, Tenn., Hayley Shay Hood of Elizabethton, Tenn., and Austin Tyler Hood of Abingdon, Va.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
Snyder’s Memorial Gardens is serving the Hood family with honor.
