Margaret Ann Pierce Deloach

Margaret Ann Pierce Deloach, 78, of Elizabethton, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2016, at her residence.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Spurgeon and Bessie Pierce Collins. Margaret was a graduate of Unaka High School. Prior to her retirement she worked at Pharmaseal & Kennametal. She was a member of Hunter First Baptist Church.
Margaret was a Charter Member of the Carter County Car Club and a member of the East Tennessee Rebel Thunderbird Club. She was an avid Lady Vols Basketball fan and enjoyed the Saturday Night Cruise-In.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Dewey and Floyd Collins; a sister, Virginia Collins; and a nephew, Timmy Collins.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Luther Deloach; a daughter, Angelia Deloach; a grandson, Mackenzie Hazelwood; a granddaughter, Makayla Hazelwood; a god-daughter, Veronica Cole; a brother, Jack Collins and wife Glenda; two sisters, Wilma Nave and husband Ronnie and Margie Lewis and husband C.H.; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Margaret Ann Pierce Deloach will be conducted at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 21, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Rusty Verran officiating. Music will be provided by Letha Grindstaff. The entombment service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 22, in the Mausoleum of Peace at Happy Valley Memorial Park with music provided by Freida Winters, harpist. Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 1:20 p.m. Sunday, will be Jeff Fuller, Frederick Williams, Bruce Killian, Rick Winters, Tim Winters, Rick Norris and Randy Norris. Honorary pallbearers will be Bob Collins, Kenneth Sheffield, Michael Sheffield, Buddy Norris, Jack Foster, Glen Creasey, members of the Carter County Car Club, members of the East Tennessee Rebel Thunderbird Club and her neighbors. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to her caregiver, Patricia Johnson, her best friend for 53 years, Frieda Winters, her special friends, Pauline White, Carolyn Coker, Geneva Norris and the staff of Amedisys Home Health especially Lance and Andy. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Friends may also visit with the family at her residence.
