Ronald Duane Kuhn, 58, of Elizabethton, went to be with the Lord and his family on Friday, May 27, 2016, from Sycamore Shoals Hospital. Ronald was born on December 18, 1957 in Goshen, Ind., to the late Glen Everett Kuhn and Marie Arvilla (Poff) Kuhn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, John Everett Kuhn.
Ronald had worked as a truck driver and was of the Christian faith, having been a member of Maple Grove Church of the Brethren in New Paris, Ind. He loved dogs and children, had a great sense of humor and was known for his big heart and kindness. He was the kind of person that would do anything for someone in need. Ronald also enjoyed fishing, loved wood working, the outdoors and gardening.
Left to cherish his memory is his sister, Patti Wheetman and husband Scott of Elizabethton. Several aunts, uncles and cousins, all living in Indiana and Florida, also survive.
It was Ronald’s wishes to be cremated and no services are scheduled at this time. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the hospital staff of Sycamore Shoals and Hillview Health Care and Rehab Center for their help and prayers. Those who prefer memorials may make donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 2335 Knob Creek Road, Suite 101, Johnson City, TN 37604 in honor of Ronald.
