Bobbie Faye Worden, 79, of Johnson City, passed away Monday, May 30, 2016, at her residence.
A native of Johnson City, she was a daughter of the late Carl Worden and Hildred Pate Adams.
Bobbie was a graduate of Jonesborough High School and East Tennessee State College. She was retired as a secretary for Sherwood Chevrolet for 35 years. She was a member of the Lighthouse for Jesus Church, Elizabethton.
Survivors include a cousin, Ronald Clark Tabor; several cousins and nephews; and also her church family.
Funeral services for Bobbie Faye Worden will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 2, at the Lighthouse for Jesus, 2680 Highway 19E, Elizabethton, with Pastor Bill Younce and Pastor Aaron Knight officiating. Music will be by the Lighthouse Musicians. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the church.
