Donna Lynn Canino, 70, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2016, at her home in Murrell’s Inlet, S.C.
Donna, and her husband Al, were residents of Elizabethton for 36 years. Donna was active at her daughters’ schools, starting a Stamp Club and a Drama Club for the students. She was also actively involved with Just Say No, Girl Scouts, and the Carter County Humane Society, as well as Little League. Donna moved to Murrell’s Inlet in 2008 to help care for her mother. She and Al were married for 51 years.
Donna is survived by her mother, Geneva Holford, and her brother, Larry Holford, both of Murrell’s Inlet, S.C. She is also survived by her husband, Al Canino, of Murrell’s Inlet, S.C.; her daughters, Jessica Canino Brummitt, of Elizabethton, and Geneva Canino, of Houston, Texas; and four grandchildren.
