Joshua Landon Campbell

NEBO, N.C. — Joshua Landon Campbell, 34, of Nebo, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 30, 2016, at his residence. Born in Johnson City, Tenn., on August 31, 1981, he was the son of the late Landon Walter Campbell and Linda Winters Campbell of Roan Mountain, Tenn.
Joshua was a devoted husband and father, as well as a dedicated brother and son. He had an avid love for the outdoors, enjoying fishing, hunting and camping with his family. He will continue to live in the hearts and thoughts of all those who love him, and in the precious memories that will never be forgotten.
In addition to his mother, Joshua is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Jackie Marie Leatherman Campbell, of the home; his three precious children, Deven, Kayden and Jude Campbell, of the home; one sister, Nicole Campbell Barnett of Roan Mountain, Tenn.; and his maternal grandmother, Betty Winters of Newland, N.C.
A celebration of Joshua’s life will be held on Sunday, June 5, at 3 p.m. at Tetrick Funeral Home, Rhododendron Chapel, Roan Mountain, Tenn. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
